Attracting full houses each stop along the way, Mr. Vegas is thrilled with the tour's success. So far, the artist has touched down at Trinity College, Northeastern University, Spelman College and Buffalo University. There are just eight colleges to go. College fans have been extremely receptive to Mr. Vegas' appealing sets, as he keeps them exciting and chock full of energy -- joined by top notch dancer Boricia Anthony Brown and DJ extraordinaire Bryan Dobson aka Fatta Diamond.Picture Below

Mr. Vegas boasts a wide catalogue of hits, but it is his electrifying stint of "Hot Wuk" that propels the crowd into another stratosphere. At the half-way mark of his set, Mr. Vegas performs the fiery track and advises the crowd that he's bringing someone straight from Jamaica to show how the dance is really done. That's when Boricia puts a dent in the floor with her sensational moves.

As a vehicle of incorporating the college students into the show, a dance contest is held. And boy do they love it. In fact, the Northeastern University show was extra riveting when the head of the school's Caribbean Association gave Boricia a run for her money. The past year has been quite rewarding for the popular artist, as he has unleashed hit after hit, shined on stellar remixes with the likes of Kat Deluna/Lil' Kim and Trey Songz. Additionally, Mr. Vegas blazes in the new smash video of "Hot Gal Nuh Fight Ova Man," which is in rotation on numerous video outlets.

Mr. Vegas never ceases to amaze the massive with his slew of trend setting hits and incomparable style. The popular singjay’s latest project is a sizzlin’ video for the catchy tune “Hot Gal Nuh Fight Over Man.”

Filmed in the dancehall hub of Kingston, Jamaica, the JayWil produced video includes four different entertaining sets. One of the video’s core backdrops is a talk show called “Talk Di Tings,” hosted by hip Jamaican tv/radio personality Ms. Kitty, which featured a live studio audience.

Through out the video, Mr. Vegas is donned in “crisp” attire. He stays laced in pieces by Ferragamo, Gucci and Ed Hardy to name a few. It’s no secret that this long-lasting artist has switched up his style quite a bit, always rocking the sharpest gear.

Mr. Vegas is truly the star of the video – but his dancers steal the show with their swift melodic choreography and flair for performance. Officially billed as High Energy, the dancers are featured significantly. And Boricia, a member of the group, appears in the video completely painted in gold from head to toe. Although Vegas unleashes a barrage of music for the ladies, clearly, the sexy gold-drenched scene is for the fellas.

The “Hot Gal” video is split with the new Vegas song “Wine Up,” where High Energy skillfully demonstrates this future dance sensation. “Hot Gal” features a host of cameos, including one from Ninja of Mighty Crown.

Overall, the shoot flowed smoothly, lasting for over 15 hours. Boasting exceptional quality, the “Hot Gal” video is slated to hit media outlets within a couple of weeks. Next on the agenda is a video for Vegas’ street banger “Mus Come a Road,” which will be shot in late March.

This past year has been chock-full of many milestones for Mr. Vegas publicly and behind-the-scenes. Recently, Mr. Vegas appeared on star studded remixes including “Can’t Help But Wait,” alongside R&B sensation Trey Songz and “Tek Weh Yuhself Again” with Hip Hop diva Lil’ Kim and Latin sensation Kat Deluna.

His fifth studio album, Hot it Up, hit stores in late August 2007, producing a number of radio and club favorites like “Tek Weh Yuhself,” “Raging Bull,” “You Gonna Need Me” and “We Nuh Want Nuh Friend.” And impressively, the album’s fiery “Hot Wuk” made its way up the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop charts. Also over the summer, Mr. Vegas changed his management home to Irish and Chin, Inc.

Mr. Vegas burst on the scene over 10 years ago. He is lauded for his one-of-a-kind flavor and slew of hits. It was the unforgettable crossover hit “Heads High” and “Nike Air” that brought Mr. Vegas to the forefront of the Reggae Dancehall genre.

The college tour will consist of numerous colleges throughout the United States, which will range from New York to Atlanta. In part of the Irie TV Networks “One Caribbean” campaign are tours throughout the US and the Caribbean.

To start off the series of tours is The Mr. Vegas Campus Rave Tour. Irie TV Network recognizes Mr. Vegas’ vast accomplishments throughout his career and sees him as the perfect artist to convey the “One Caribbean” message. His vigor has transcended from the Caribbean and has reached the US in many of his hit songs.

In this one Vegas venture into the street happenings and the perception given to informers. He also delves into some of trials faced in lock up.

Vegas injected some humor and yes harsh realities into 'Must Come A Road'. But then again that's not strange to the singjay as one of his most popular song 'Heads High' was like an anthem for all the 'good girls' as he took a definite stance in encouraging them to keep their dignities.

'Must Come A Road' since its release has been enjoying some heavy rotation and whenever it's played in the dancehall…it's pure lighters. This one definitely sell off! He is currently doing the treatment for the video which will be shot in the next 2-3 weeks under the supervision of director Jay Will.

The song is produced by Stanley Hayden it is expected that this song will be in the popularity ranks leading into the Christmas season.

Mr. Vegas Unplugged in the Big Apple

New York, NY - Known for his catalog of crossover hits like "Head's High" and "Nike Air," Mr. Vegas is back with a bang as he unleashes another collection of dancehall staples on his latest album, Hot It Up.

The official album launch happened on Tuesday, September 11 in New York, as fans and media packed Manhattan's Crash Mansion to witness a rare rendition of his hits that saw Mr. Vegas backed by only an acoustic guitarist and his backup singers. The unplugged artist showcase was captured for coverage by an incredible turnout of international media, including MTV South, Tempo, Vibe and Billboard magazine.

K&R Agency planned the exclusive industry event and the night carried a Vegas theme that included several Vegas-style showgirls who never left the artists side, even during his performance.

Hot It Up hit store shelves on August 28th, in the wake of heavy rotation of its international breakout hit tracks, "Hot Wuk" and "Tek Weh Yuh Self." Vegas dons the executive producer cap on the album, which also features productions from Sly & Robbie and Stephen McGregor, and appearances from Jovi Rockwell, Lexus and Vybez Kartel.

Mr. Vegas is one of only a handful of Caribbean artists who have consistently enjoyed crossover airplay and attention, from the very beginning of his career. Following the shoot Vegas was off to fulfill his performance commitments in Rochester and Antigua where he shared stage with the top Jamaican group Morgan Heritage.

"Man it was crazy," Vegas shared about the shows as he went on to point out that the response which never cease to amaze him was very overwhelming.

Among the songs that he devastated the place with were 'Hot Wuk', 'Do You Know', 'Teck Whey Yuhself' and ‘Nuh Friend From Dem'.

Now back in the island Vegas is putting the finishing touches on his soon to be released album.

According to Vegas the album is now in the mixing stage and e has over 40 tracks to select the final cuts from. Tracks that will sure to be included though are 'Teck Whey Yuhsef', 'Do You Know', 'Hot Wuk' and 'Lean Wid It'.
